Ohio Genealogical Society SQL Volunteer Needed

The Ohio Genealogical Society is planning to design and develop a new website.  Part of that large project is improving the design of the database.  The Ohio Genealogical Society Technology Committee is looking for a volunteer to help to prepare the database for the new website.  The work can be performed remotely.  This opportunity may involve:

·      Data analysis

·      Data scrubbing

·      Developing tools to migrate data from the existing database to a redesigned database

·      Developing back-end database programs

Skills needed are:

·      MySQL or SQL database experience

·      Data conversion

·      Detail oriented
